What is the one thing that sets your product apart from the competition?  

First and foremost I don’t consider myself a traditional loan officer, but rather more of a mortgage planner.  As a mortgage planner, utilizing my past experience as a financial advisor, I am able to analyze my clients' complete financial situation and establish current goals, as well as vision for the future.  As a team, our next step is to establish the plan and find the product that will best accomplish your needs. 

How did you get into the mortgage industry?

Before becoming a mortgage planner I was a licensed investment advisor.  As an investment advisor I interacted with individuals with what many would consider high net worth’s.  Over the years, I realized these clients grew their wealth in two primary ways; retirement accounts (401k’s, etc.) and/ or real-estate that had appreciated over the course of their lives.  Many of these clients had recently retired from large companies such as Boeing or Verizon with sizable accounts that had grown after 25 to 30+ years of employment.  Unfortunately, nowadays these jobs are few and far between, as many of us have either experienced or witnessed.  Many Americans find themselves moving from job to job with little or no retirement savings.  During my research I quickly learned that real estate was an effective, attainable supplement to the traditional retirement plan. Over the years I have developed proven strategies that enable normal, everyday people to use the equity in their personal residences to invest in their financial future. 

My company is by referral only. By not having to spend money on advertising I am able to offer my services at a far more competitive rate than other mortgage planners.  In addition, I am committed to going the extra mile with each client, on every deal, to ensure satisfied clients that will refer me to their friends and family members.
